The Similarities Between Dry and Damaged Hair: Hair Appearance and Texture.
Both dry and damaged hair can appear frizzy and dull, and can feel brittle. You may notice stray hair and split ends.
You may be thinking, "What can I do?"
The Difference Between Dry and Damaged Hair: Causes and Solutions.
There are two ways to figure out what's wrong with your hair. The first is to consider what your hair has been through recently (we'll tell you through the navigation) and the second is to test individual hairs (more on that later).
Fortunately, every problem has its own solution, so you've come to the right place.
dry hair
Hair becomes dry when it doesn't absorb or hold on to moisture long enough due to:
A change in your environment, such as a dry, hot climate or lots of sun or wind
swimming in chlorinated pools or salty seawater
washing your hair often (more often than usual if you notice sudden changes)
Hydration solution
The good news is that if your hair is dry, your tresses are probably healthy, and it just takes one long drink and you can make it a habit. try

Regular heating of hair (blow drying, straightening, curling)
These processes actually break down the hair strand layer that protects the cuticle and damages the hair shaft.

hair test
Need a physical way to see if it's dry or damaged? Take a section of wet hair from your head, pinch the ends between your fingers, and gently pull.
If the hair stretches and then returns to its original length, it is healthy! (OK). If it stretches but doesn't recover, it's dry. If your hair isn't stretched, or if it stretches a little and breaks, then you have damaged hair.
